The Poles leave Britain

Posted in Europebus news

If you are planning to travel to Poland from Britain or vice versa, taking an intercity coach is maybe not the first thing which comes to your mind, unless you are on a budget than taking the coach is for sure something to consider. However, before making your purchase, you need to consider the following facts:
The current bus/coach operators like Sindbad-Eurobus, offer transportation from most cities/towns in the UK to not only big and well-known cities in Poland such as Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan, Gdansk or Lodz but also to about 200 other smaller towns and cities. The traveling distance between London and Warsaw is about 1100 km, which equals a travel time of about 24-26 hours, the route is operated with modern long distance coaches and all routes also have several breaks on the way. If you are traveling from Scotland, Wales or Ireland to Poland the journey time can be up to 40 hours, depending on your destination. Currently, coaches use the Eurotunnel crossing on the way to Poland, and the route leads through France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany.

If you are taking the coach from the UK to Poland, you should pay attention to where your coach is departing from as the departure location depends on the operator you wish to travel with. Sometimes the coach operators in larger cities use several stops, and sometimes the departure stop may be different from the place of arrival, so make sure also to check which one is the most convenient in relation to your accommodation. When you search for a connection, you will see that the departure location is stated in the booking process and the exact address and location are also printed on your ticket.

Sindbad-Eurobus is the biggest Polish coach operator, which has teamed up with Eurolines UK and National Express and managed to expand their network in the UK rapidly. Since May this year Sindbad-Eurobus has systematically increased the amount of stops in the UK and Poland for the connection.

So, is the coach an option for me?... If you are looking for an affordable, but reliable and environmentally friendly form of transport, coach transportation is the perfect choice for you, the benefits of traveling with coaches do not end with the price or the wide range of departure times and routes: coach services are fully air-conditioned, most offer plug sockets, Wi-Fi, toilets on board, and a selection of snacks and drinks for sale. You can take luggage, sometimes even a couple and this is included in the ticket price.
