National Express, Eurolines & Megabus relocating to Liverpool’s One Bus Station

Posted in Industry news

National Express, Eurolines & Megabus are reaching an exciting new milestone in Liverpool – the coach companies are relocating services to Liverpool One Bus Station.

The carriers are moving all operations to Liverpool One Bus Station in January following the closure of the Norton Street coach station, which will see the last coach roll out just before midnight on Thursday, 14 January 2016. From Friday, 15 January, all National Express & Eurolines coaches will run to and from Liverpool One. Megabus uses the One Bus Station for a while now.

Thanks to Liverpool One Bus Station’s location at the very heart of the city, coach passengers will benefit from closer proximity to amenities – being just a stone’s throw from shops, restaurants, attractions and bars. People will also be able to take advantage of improved onward travel options through integration with the local bus network.

Liverpool One Bus Station will also provide customers with important high-quality facilities including a travel centre delivering multi-journey tickets and customer information, and on-site security.

National Express and Megabus operate daily services from Liverpool to destinations all over the country including Manchester, Leeds and London, Eurolines provides only one service per day to/from Ireland.

From Midnight on Friday 15th January, all National Express and Eurolines services will move permanently to Liverpool One Bus Station, Canning Place, L1 8JX. Please note: Until Midnight on Thursday 14 January coaches will continue to serve Coach Stn, Norton St.
