Eurolines announce last minute seats for passengers affected by Eurostar disruption

Eurolines has yesterday announced limited, last minute availability on services to Brussels for people affected by industrial action on the Eurostar.

Europe’s largest scheduled coach operator has seats available on Belgian services departing London at 10am, 2pm and 11pm on 22 December. Fares start from £68 return and are available via www.eurolines.co.uk or www.europebus.co.uk

Last year Eurolines helped several hundred people travel between the UK and Europe when the volcanic ash cloud caused travel chaos across the continent.

John Gilbert, President of Eurolines said:

Coach is an extremely flexible and reliable form of transport which allows us to step in quickly when other modes are unable to operate.  We have several services departing to Brussels over the next 24 hours and limited seats are still available for people affected by the strike action, however we would urge people to contact us quickly as spaces will fill up.

Eurolines is Europe's largest coach service network and group's together 32 independent coach companies taking passengers to over 500 destinations across Europe.  All Eurolines members use modern coaches with reclining seats, large picture windows, toilet facilities and a comfortable amount of legroom. All services are non-smoking.

To check availability and book online, please visit www.eurolines.co.uk or via EuropeBus.co.uk
