About EuropeBus.co.uk...

Europebus.co.uk is not a company, corporation or travel agency, but a personal website. This webpage was created on the basis of experience and a passion for travel. In a transparent manner will be providing information about intercity, interairport and international coach travel in the UK.

The information at EuropeBus.co.uk is provided free of charge, to give you a reasonable idea of coach times, fares, and how to buy tickets. Our website is designed to help tourists choosing a coach as a means of transport. We want to prove that a coach journey is an inexpensive, simple and convenient option.  We try to keep the website updated, but it's simply impossible for just two people to keep every time & fare up to date 100% of the time. Fares are particularly difficult, as we have limited access to the fares manuals or reservation systems, only the same internet resources that are available to anyone.  National and international operators don't tell us when they put their prices up, we have to spot that they've done so.

So treat all coach times & fares as a guide, and use the links provided to check them using the official coach carriers websites wherever possible.  You can always confirm details direct with the operator or ticketing agency.  We can't take responsibility for errors or inaccuracies in the information we provide, please let us know if find any via our contact tool/page http://www.europebus.co.uk/contact/

  • Emails about travel problems:  People sometimes report a problem they've experienced with a particular coach operator.  In cases like these, if we think it is appropriate we may share this with our contacts in the relevant coach company to see if they can help you, or at least make them aware of the problem and resolve it for future travellers - Unless your email asks us not to, of course.

What are cookies?

“Cookies are small, usually randomly encoded, text files that help your browser navigate through a particular website. The cookie file is generated by the site you’re browsing and is accepted and processed by your computer’s browser software. The cookie file is stored in your browser’s folder or subfolder.

Your browser accesses the cookie file again when you visit the website that created the cookie file. The browser uses the information stored in the cookie file to help ease your navigation of the website by letting you log in automatically or remembering settings you selected during your earlier visits to the website, among many other functions. For more detail see the Wikipedia entry on cookies.

We do not use 'cookies' personally on this website, but like most websites, our website does put cookies on yourcomputer from third parties, in connection with (1) the statistics service we use, (2) the affiliate schemes which we have joined and (3) the adverts served by advertising companies.

  • (1) Google Analytics cookies:  Like many webmasters, we use Google's excellent free Analytics service to understand how many people visit each page of our website, what percentage of visitors are from the UK, Ireland, Poland and so on. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to track visitor interactions. These cookies are used to store information, such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before, and what site referred the visitor to the web page. Browsers do not share first-party cookies across domains. Google's privacy policy is available at www.google.com/privacypolicy.html.
  • (2) Affiliate schemes & cookies:  We have teamed up with various affiliate schemes, so that if you click on certain links from EuropeBus.co.uk to a retailer's website this is 'tracked'.  If you then buy something at the retailer's site, we get some commission. Affiliate schemes often use cookies temporarily stored on your PC to do the tracking. The cookies are created and managed by the relevant third party retailer or affiliate scheme management company rather than by us, but as far as we know, they are simply used to attribute commission for us, by telling a retailer that a person who visited their site did so as a result of a previous visit to EuropeBus.co.uk.
  • (3) Advertising company cookies:  We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit the website, and the revenue from these ads also helps fund the site and allows the information to be free. These companies may use anonymous aggregated information (in other words, not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide adverts about goods and services that are relevant to you.  If you would like more information about this practice (sometimes called 'behavioural advertising') and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, see www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
