Wi-fi now available on all Eurolines routes from London to Paris

Posted in Industry news

Eurolines’ passengers can now free and without interruption use the internet between London and Paris for the first time, thanks to free wifi installed on Eurolines coaches.

Europe’s largest scheduled coach operator installed continuous wifi on the London to Paris route in June – and over 20,000 customers have already taken advantage of the free service.

John Gilbert, Managing Director Eurolines UK, said:

This is the first time internet has been continuously available between the UK and main land France and it’s a real benefit of travelling by coach.  Having wifi allows our passengers to keep in touch with friends, research their destination or catch up on news and emails. The feedback from customers so far has been great and it’s something we’re looking to extend to other routes too.

We’re committed to keeping the price of transport low to make travelling affordable for everyone. We don’t have lots of hidden charges and the wifi has been added to the service for free.

Eurolines operate up to ten daily departures from Victoria Coach station in London direct to Paris. Fares in summer start from £56 return and include a luggage allowance of two 20kg suitcases and there’s no additional booking fee. Coach is the most environmentally friendly method of public transport – generating six times less CO2 than flying – so coach passengers are actively reducing their carbon footprint.
